Pope John Paul arrived in Dheisheh 45 minutes after the scheduled time, waving from the Pope Mobile quickly disappearing into the alleys. Most people got only another glimpse of the Pope on his way out after the ceremony. Despite of the delay in his arrival, the Pope left almost on schedule.
